"With Untrodden Planet I was making sounds that were sounding like they were coming from a place that had not yet been explored hence the name. With tracks like Untrodden Planet and Military Grade I felt like I had landed in a place where everything was different, fresh, exciting, out of place and out of bounds from the norm, I stepped off of a ship to new territories. It also felt like I was using rusted old military equipment to make the drones and primordial gloop that progressed. Like I was hunkered down in a bunker on a strange world sending out signals to who knows what? Ultimate Synth Freak Out is exactly what it says and pretty much how I felt after coaxing the sounds out of the machine and fits with the above as well. All of this was recorded in 2011 and 2012 in Nashville, TN USA and is basically my thoughts on stretching the boundaries of this kind of art noise or space music." (Lance Dibblee)
